It’s all about being proud of the years that you’ve earned, all the while making sure that your still appear happy, healthy and radiant. And you know what? There are all sorts of natural---and super affordable---ways to reach this goal.
1. Exercise 2-3 times per week

There isn’t nearly enough time to get into all of the reasons why exercise is great for you. Some of the benefits include the fact that it can help you to control your weight, it’s a stress reliever, it keeps cholesterol and your blood pressure in check and it’s a bona fide energy boost. Mentally, it also can help to improve your self-confidence, sharpen your memory, and keep your brain in good working order. A combination of cardio and strength training will tone you too. In short, the more you exercise, the better you’ll look and more importantly, you’ll feel.
2. Whiten teeth with baking soda and peroxide
Some people look older than they are and it’s because their teeth are not as white as they should be. When teeth appear dingy, it can really age a person. You could spend hundreds on professional whitening treatments at your dentist, but something that is super effective (and cheap) is a combo of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. The texture of the baking soda (with the help of a soft bristle brush) is like an exfoliant for your enamel (brush gently, please). And peroxide? It’s known for removing stains out of basically any and everything. You can either dip your toothbrush in the solution while brushing or you can use it as a mouthwash once you’re done. Just make sure to spit it out rather than swallow. Peroxide is not meant to be digested.
3. Slow down greying with lemon juice and almond oil

Grey hair is going to pop up at one point or another for most individuals as they get older. You can go to a professional stylist to get it covered up with a permanent hair color. But, if you’d much rather avoid all of the chemicals, go with a Henna treatment or slow down the greying process with the help of some lemon juice and almond oil. Lemons are loaded with lots of the vitamins that your hair needs including Vitamins B and C. Almond oil is proven to help to hinder premature greying. Just mix two tablespoons of almond oil to three tablespoons of lemon juice. Let it sit on clean hair for 30 minutes and rinse. (Do it 1-2 times per week, if you can.)
4. Create a banana mask

5. Get eight hours of sleep
In 2015, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention published an article stating that a lack of sleep has become a public health problem. A couple of years before that, Gallup cited that 40 percent of people within the United States are actually sleep deprived. Nothing is good about that because sleep is what our minds, bodies and spirits need in order to rejuvenate in preparation for the next day. Being that sleep deprivation can lead to moodiness, anxiety, weight gain, lack of concentration and in some cases, even death, it’s important to get between 6-8 hours every night.
6. Enjoy sexual intimacy (regularly)
If you’re in a committed relationship, make sure that sex is on your weekly to-do list too. From burning an astronomical amount of calories and relieving pain to boosting your immunity and libido to helping your heart to stay healthy and strong, sex is one of the best ways to combat aging.
